Formatting work
Please use the following guidelines for formatting work to be submitted to the IB for assessment.
These guidelines ensure that your work will be easily legible by the examiners and that it will be anonymous as well.

- Arial (or similar) font
- Minimum font size 11 (12 may be better)
- Single (or greater) line spacing (1.5 or double may be better)
- Numbered pages
- Portrait orientation (except when necessary / appropriate)
- Documents – 50MB (.doc, .docx, .pdf (non-editable), .rtf)
- Candidates should be advised not to embed live links into any of their coursework as these cannot be viewed by our examiners.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Please note the following specifications for file sizes and file types:
- Candidates should keep files to the smallest possible size that does not negatively affect the quality of the work submitted.
- When creating a PDF, ensure the size of the pages within the PDF are set to A4/letter size.
- Maximum file size for documents is 50 MB.
- Audio files should be 60MB, and types: .mp3 or .m4a.
- Acceptable file types for documents: .doc, .docx, .pdf (non-editable), .rtf
- Do not embed any live links into any coursework as these cannot be viewed by examiners.
- Language ab initio source files must contain just the relevant pages studied as target language sources.
